The February 2025 security update, KB5051979, has been released for Windows Server 2022, addressing multiple issues that arose in the previous month’s update. Notably, the January update rendered Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) devices and other USB devices inoperable, showing an error code 10 in Device Manager. This created significant frustration among users.
Additionally, there were complications with camera devices that were incorrectly recognized as inactive. The February update not only restores functionality to these USB devices but also includes several other crucial fixes.

What’s New in Windows Server 2022 Build 20348.3207?
This update bumps the server to Build 20348.3207 and resolves a memory leak in predictive input suggestions. It also corrects issues within the Device Health Attestation service that impeded the upgrade process from Windows Server 2016.
Moreover, problems with symbolic links, which are used to link files and folders, caused system crashes, and this has also been addressed in the patch.
While many fixes have been implemented, some problems from the January update persist. Notably, the System Guard Runtime Monitor Broker Service errors continue to appear in the Event Viewer. Microsoft has acknowledged these errors as harmless and plans to remove the service in future updates.
