Auvik Unveils Enhanced Features for SaaS Management, Network Visibility, and Server Monitoring

Cloud-based network management software company Auvik Networks Inc. has rolled out significant updates to its platform, enhancing capabilities in software-as-a-service (SaaS) automation, endpoint network visibility, and server monitoring. These innovations are designed to provide IT teams and managed service providers with improved visibility and control over their networks.

The key new features include SaaS Automation and SaaS License Optimization as part of Auvik’s SaaS Management. These functionalities aim to bolster security and mitigate unnecessary unnecessary costs associated with SaaS subscriptions. Additionally, Auvik has introduced Endpoint Network Monitoring to support users in remote and hybrid environments, thereby enhancing visibility into workstation connectivity. The platform’s server monitoring capabilities have also been expanded to offer deeper insights into Windows server environments, enabling proactive management and reducing tool sprawl.

These enhancements allow customers to simplify their toolsets, thereby consolidating network, server, and SaaS management solutions within a single platform. "These capabilities were developed in close collaboration with our customers, helping us understand the solutions and features they need for better management of diverse IT environments and uncover opportunities for cost savings," Auvik’s CEO, Doug Murray, stated.

With the new SaaS management features, IT administrators can improve security and optimize spending by gaining clear insights into software usage. The innovations facilitate managing access to SaaS applications, reducing waste, and controlling the costs that can represent up to 30% of the $2,000 to $5,000 expenditure per employee each year. This efficiency provides an opportunity for businesses to allocate funds toward critical areas like AI and enhanced security, supported by over 20 prebuilt integrations with platforms such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, and Zoom.

Auvik’s Endpoint Network Monitoring, part of the Network Management platform, aims to enhance network visibility at endpoints across diverse work environments, ensuring better management and user experience for devices operating on Windows and Mac OS. This solution helps address visibility gaps that traditional remote monitoring tools may overlook.

In terms of server monitoring, Auvik has improved its capabilities to deliver comprehensive insights into Windows servers within its Network Management platform. Customers can now access proactive alerts and maintain an organized inventory of their servers in a consolidated space.

Auvik, which has successfully raised various funding rounds including $250 million in July 2021, continues to attract investments from major firms such as Great Hill Partners, Rho Canada Ventures, Celtic House Venture Partners, OpenView Venture Partners, and BDC Venture Capital.
